WEDDING EVENTS
The following information is for wedding ceremonies and receptions only. Other events such as rehearsal parties are priced as Non-Wedding Events.

The above fees are based on:

• Wedding only lasting no longer than 2 hours with House open 2 hours prior for wedding party to dress and florist, etc. to set up

• Reception only lasting no longer than 3 hours with House open 2 hours prior for caterer, florist, etc. to set up

• Wedding and Reception lasting no longer than 3½ hours with House open 2½ hours prior for wedding party to dress and caterer, florist, etc. to set up

Additional Time
Additional time extensions may be pre-arranged in half-hour increments for $100 per hour ($50 per half hour).

Rehearsals
There is no additional fee for a 1½-hour rehearsal in the Garden or inside the House. Time for rehearsal must be set when the ceremony time is determined.

Deposits
Once you are certain of the date, you will need to make a $500 deposit. This deposit will apply toward your total payment. In the event of a cancellations, $200 will be refunded if we are informed at least 90 days prior to the reserved date.  Otherwise, the deposit is forfeited. 
A $250 breakage/security deposit will also be required when you pay your balance (one month prior to your wedding). It should be written as a separate check so that it may be returned to you by mail if no damage occurs to the house or grounds and if the contract has been adhered to.

Bridal Portraits
A Bride who is renting the Kilgore-Lewis House for her wedding or reception may have her portrait made in the House or gardens at no charge if this is done during regular House hours (10 a.m.-2 p.m.., Monday through Friday). She may rent the House for a portrait after hours for $75 for photo session lasting up to 2 hours. Portrait times need to be arranged in advance, so that we may be sure that there will not be another event taking place that might disrupt the photograph session.

Brides who are not having their ceremonies or receptions at the Kilgore-Lewis House may have portraits made in the House or Gardens for $35 during House hours and for $75 after hours. After-hours sessions are limited to 2 hours, unless prior arrangements have been made and additional fees paid.

NON-WEDDING EVENTS
For non-wedding events such as parties and rehearsal dinners, our rental fee is simply $100 per hour. Renters will need to include time for set-up and clean-up in their planning as well as the actual time that the guests will be present.

Reserving Your Date & Time
We understand that most of our renters will need to coordinate their rental date with family, friends, and vendors, so we do allow you to make a tentative reservation without a deposit which we will hold for two weeks. It is important that during that time you confirm whether or not you will use Kilgore-Lewis by calling (864) 232-3020 or emailing judy@kilgore-lewis.org.
